been working on this since june, at first it just started as some low effort project i was working on just to get myself motivated to make music again but i started to have high ambitions for tha project. this tape iz the beginning of me trying to get more comfortable w my voice on tracks and even tho i still fuckign hate my voice it was a lot of fun for most of this. ive also learned a lot about writing lyrics along the way of this and while this project has very silly moments it also has sum real shit in it. ive been going through a wave of emotions within the span of making this mixtape, lots of highs and a lot of lows. this wave of emotions is what defines the "blu sound" where my mental state constantly fluctuates. its not easy at all to keep pushing through with life when theres so many walls that i hit, but i still push through regardless because i know i have so much more to do and so much more to experience. from the bottom of my heart i want to thank all of my friends who have helped me with this project, whether that be with features, production, helping me write or mix or whatever. id like to thank my friends who have been so unbelievably supportive of me and my work because without yall i would not be doing this shit. i will keep doing this for as long as i can and i hope that in the end it pays off because its always been a dream of mine to have others acknowledge my work. i truly believe that we all gon make it 2023 is tha year fr. so tldr i put a lot of work into this and imo its ma best work imo i hope yall enjoy thank you very much <3
